Chris Westfall is
an innovative sales leader, specializing in new market penetration,
consultative sales strategies, and high-impact team-building.
As Vice President of Global Sales for NuVo Technologies,
Westfall led a high-performance team that beat the product category
by a margin of 64% for year over year revenues. His proven
methodology took market share from larger competitors, and expanded
US distribution by 12%. Westfall increased lead generation by
over 50% among the CEPro 100, an elite group of top integrators.
As a sales executive for AMX, a global leader in technology
automation, digital signage, IPTV, matrix audio and video switching,
control software and environmental systems, Chris delivered unprecedented
results in key vertical markets. Hired as part of a new business
development initiative, Westfall was responsible for guiding AMX
strategy in the hospitality and MDU market, working with high-end
hotel installations at the W Times
Square, Caesars Palace, Bellagio, Hilton’s “Room of the Future”
and other marquee installations. Responsible for the company's
single-largest residential sale in 2007, he served as senior sales executive
with builders and developers – including the Related Group, Mann
Realty, Christa Development, and others. In addition to building
the AMX residential sales team from the ground up, he created the
company’s Residential Builder program.
An award-winning speaker in public forums and in
the press, Westfall has been a featured presenter at EHExpo, on
CNN, and in multiple trade publications. He created a series
of videos
on effective sales techniques, and spearheaded the introduction
of a unique pre-programmed software solution targeting the CEDIA channel
of installers.
Prior to his work in the CE industry, Westfall handled
various aspects of marketing and branding, including international
website design, for a division of Unilever called TIGI International.
He began his career at VERIZON and AT&T, in a series of progressive
marketing and product development roles, before moving into major
account sales. His programs led to over 200% growth
in internet-related products, during the introduction of new sales
strategies to the telcom marketplace. He has a history of sales
overachievement with Fortune 1000 customers, and a proven track
record managing large, complex sales processes.
A native of Chicago, Westfall received his undergraduate
degree from Southern
Methodist University in Dallas, TX. A one-time professional
spokesperson and sought-after on-camera personality, he has worked
in broadcast for some of the largest companies in the world. He
holds a Masters in Business Administration from Texas Christian University in
Fort Worth, where he graduated with honors. He resides in
Dallas with his wife and two daughters, and is an avid supporter
of the performing and visual arts.
